Please read my T&C’s carefully before purchasing, by purchasing with British Stamp Maker you’re agreeing to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website. These terms and conditions abide by The Consumer Contract Regulations. You’re welcome to print or store these terms for your own records.

British Stamp Maker own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else. While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on British Stamp Maker website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of our GDPR compliance.

Wherever the term “Working Days or Hours” is featured, this excludes bank holidays, weekends and public holidays such as Christmas. Any holiday times will be clearly displayed on the homepage. When you place an order with British Stamp Maker you will be sent an order confirmation detailing your order, this is giving you ample opportunity to correct any possible errors. Should you have any complaints, please send them to the contact information detailed at the bottom of this document. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. They do not affect your statutory rights.

Stamp Aplication

British Stamp Maker use world class tecnology to ensure our stamps are made with precision, All stamps are hand trimmed this is to ensure you have the best stamping results, some stamps may look like the have been cut in a strange way but we do this to make your stamping experience easier. All stamps will have a  imperfect reclaimed wooden handle (unless otherwise requested by the customer. Please be aware other handles will be charged at a different rate). All handles will have British Stamp Maker branding. British Stamp Maker test all stamps to ensure a clear impression is made before posting to the customer, there may be slight ink resedue left on your stamp we do our best to ensure all stamps are as clean as possible. British Stamp Maker test all stamps on printer paper. British Stamp Maker will try to advise on the best material for your aplication needs we can not guarantee your stamp will make a clear impression on unstable materials such as; Fabric, courrgated card, plastic ETC, If you are unsure please email help@britishstampmaker.co.uk before purchasing.

We always recomend that you flip your stamp over and ink it with our mini pads vs pressing the stamp into an ink pad.-

Artwork

When uploading artwork to the website you are confirming you own all rights to the image and you are not infringing any copywrite laws. We will not make a stamp that we believe breaks any copywrite or other laws. Your order will be refunded.

Prices

Prices are subject to change but are correct at time of posting. Any glitches, errors or typos are not required to be honoured. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail to the address provided. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether. Any special offers will have a clear displayed end date.

Payment

British Stamp Maker main payment method is PayPal – You do not need a PayPal account to purchase with us. British Stamp Maker does not store payment information, it is processed by PayPal. Customers are also welcome to use the payment processors provided by our 3rd party platforms.

Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with British Stamp Maker. British Stamp Maker must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.

Once payment has been received British Stamp Maker will confirm that your order has been received by sending an auto email to you at the email address you provide. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. British Stamp Maker acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.

Your details will be held on our system in accordance with our data protection policy - compliant with GDPR, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

Shipping

British Stamp Maker aim to post orders within 14 working days.

British Stamp Maker send products via Royal Mail, You may have the option to upgrade your postage to TRACKED 24/48 if standard delivery/ free delivery is choosen we are not liable for lost or late items as we cannot track the items whereabouts once entered into the royal mail system.

British Stamp Maker keep online postage receords via royal mail and provide clear return post information in the rare instance that an item is undelivered.

Should your order not arrive, please contact British Stamp Maker, a full refund or a replacement will be offered once 30 days has passed.

Returns & Cancellations

All stamps are tested twice once for our records and once on the back of your leaflet. We can provide a test picture if you request one. Returns will be subject to further testing please see below.

We ensure all items that are posted to our customers are of the highest standard but if there is ever a need to return an item we do accept returns for a full refund.

Under The Consumer Contract Regulations, your right to cancel begins from the moment you place your order, up to 14 working days after receiving your order. Your right to cancel is unconditional.

You can return an item for any reason such as faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, you’ve changed your mind and more.

If you wish to return an item, please notify us in writing using the following model cancellation form (email is fine). We will then process your return.

We would be grateful if you would return your items via recorded or tracked post within 14 working days, this is for your peace of mind, and ours. This is not a requirement of law, this is a courtesy request.

Items marked as being reduced for having a defect, damage or any other reason will be exempt from the returns policy.

Return postage will be paid by the customer if the order is no longer wanted. If the reason for the return is our responsibility return postage will be paid by British Stamp Maker.

Returning Custom Items

Custom made items are exempt from The Consumer Contract Regulations – the only exception being is if they’re faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose or any other fault of British Stamp Maker; in this case, please refer to the returns section of this document.

Returning Faulty stamps

Returned faulty Stamps will be subject to testing once they arrive back with British Stamp Maker, If the stamp is proven to be faulty once tested a full refund will be given, If the stamp has been damaged by the customer your stamp will be returned to you and no refunds given.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and check it occasionally as it could change from time to time. British Stamp Maker Privacy Promise
British Stamp Maker are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy online. We will only collect, store and use your personal information for specific purposes as outlined below in accordance with GDPR. We use your personal information to support and develop our connection with you. We will never share your personal data to 3rd parties unless required by law and your data is always protected. You may contact Etch Me Pretty at any time with any privacy queries or concerns and to see the personal data you have given us and request modification.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This can include name, email address, address, and much more.
Your information
When you register with us to purchase products, we ask for data such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, and contact details. British Stamp Maker keeps a record of this information for tax purposes and for ensuring we fulfil our contract with you.

We share it with nobody, however it is stored on relevant systems such as cloud systems, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Mailchimp, Couriers (to pass addresses to), and accounting systems which are GDPR compliant. If we are required by law to share any information, we will check with each party concerned to ensure they are happy for that to happen. An example of this would be if HMRC requested an audit.

We store sensitive data for as long as orders are in progress and customers remain active clients. Email addresses provided via Mailchimp are stored until consent is withdrawn, reconsent is requested every 2 years. Information required for tax and legal requirements are held for 7 years as a requirement by law.
We keep a record of any orders you make from us, so we can help to deal with any enquiries or problems you may have in the future, and so we can ensure that any information that we send to you is appropriate. Personal data that we process for any
purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.
When you place an order with British Stamp Maker you will be asked whether you’d like to consent to us displaying your order as part of our marketing materials. By giving your consent for us to do this you understand your personal data will be in the public domain and we assume no responsibility for the usage of this data subsequently. You may request to have your personal data removed at any time and we are more than happy to comply within 7 working days.
We keep a record of any e-mail communication you send us, so we can track any problems or concerns you’ve had.
We may process information you submit to us when you contact us for the purposes of ensuring we answer your query effectively.
British Stamp Maker kindly request that you do not supply any other person’s personal data to us, unless required by law or you have their explicit consent to do so.
How we use your personal data
All the data we gather through communication with you is used to operate and expand the service we offer you and to personalise our service. How we use your personal data is dependent on the legal basis for processing your data. We are dedicated to using your personal data only for:
1. Processing your orders correctly. 2. Development and expansion of the business, including examination of customers’ shopping behaviours, measurement of advertisements and product style preferences of our customers. 3. Technical management of our selling platforms. 4. Reviewing our systems 5. Providing you with information about the services we offer. 6. Letting you know about offers and news.

Legal Basis for Processing Data
British Stamp Maker's lawful basis for processing data are:
Consent – customers that consent to signing up for our newsletter.
Legal Obligation – tax purposes.
Contract – customers that place an order with Etch Me Pretty.

Requesting Your Information
If you would like to review the data you have provided to us because you feel that what we presently have on record is incorrect, and/or you would like your data erased from our records, you can so do by contacting us using the contact details below.
Under GDPR you have a right to be forgotten, to withdraw your consent, to change information we hold about you, and to restrict processing.
British Stamp Makerare more than happy to comply with this in accordance with the law.
How we protect data
You recognise that the Internet is not a 100% secure platform for communication and, accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you send to us (or we send to you) via the Internet. We are not responsible for any damages which you, or others, may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information.
We take every precaution to safeguard your information. All personal data stored by us is kept on a server in a secure environment. The devices on which data is accessed on is password protected, data held in the cloud is password protected and held on encrypted systems and third-party software have their own security systems. Physical data is held in locked storage within secure premises.
The risks of a breach are minimal due to the precautions mentioned above being taken, and close monitoring is undertaken to ensure security systems are always up to date. Breaches will be identified, reported, managed, and resolved according to the ICO guidelines.
How you can help us protect your data
Please bear in mind that whenever you willingly divulge personal data online in nonprotected situations – for example on message forums, through email, or in chat spaces – that data can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal data online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited communications from other parties in return. Also remember to close your browser window when you have finished using the computer. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal data and communications. If you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet café. We cannot confirm or warrant the security of any data you communicate to us, and you do so at your own risk.
